Though there has been some speculation, some by me, that this Sunday's Mountain Stage concert will be broadcast, I now believe that that is not the case.

Upon reviewing the Mountain Stage web site (http://www.mountainstage.org/) I don't believe that this Sunday's concert will be broadcast. It is billed as a "live" show, but nowhere does it say it will be broadcast on the weekly show. In fact, Mountain Stage shows are actually made available to affiliate stations on Friday, for broadcast later in the week at whatever time slot they choose.

The Mountain Stage web site does indicate that the show is being taped for later TV broadcast.

The radio broadcast schedule is set through the end of February and does not indicate that Sunday's show is among the scheduled shows.

For those of you planning to stay home and tape it, rather than make the trip to WV will be doubly disappointed. The show has been sold out.
