Hot Todd at Gruene Hall June 29, 2013

Having been fortunate enough to have experienced most Todd tours since Utopia performed in Austin, TX in the early 70's, I left the show with just as much elation and awe as ever. Going to a Todd show is all about how you know it will different than before... I personally tend to scurry when it is time for Hello and the old clichés.. we lived them, right? Still good to hear them.

Especially "Determination" last year at La Zona...thanks T.

Gruene Hall is not air conditioned and sweltering in the hot months, this time around I opted for just one show, and skipped Dallas, Houston and Austin and have no regrets. The anomaly of the setting and Todd was just so right this time. Happy pyramids and glass guitars, tiki huts and pods and bars. Todd was on point, lighting and sound were rocking, the audience was very diverse, and once again; Odd... very well done. Torch on
