After attending 3 shows on Todds UK state tour I am amazed that someone felt that they had no alternative but to walk out of the show in obvious disgust. Yes the show was different to other "normal" Todd performances, but did that make it bad?..... not by a long shot. Personally I would go see Todd if he was singing Christmas carols but this show ,like the album, was just so full of energy that you could not fail to get involved.. singing along, clapping and even bad attempts at dancing. From where I was standing everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, Todd and band included, so what if his classics got a bit of a makeover ....this is Todd Rundgren we are talking about , why stand still when there are places to go.
