How on earth did he manage to blow us away with yet another groundbreaking show ? I thought recent gigs in Manchester (2009) and Amsterdam with Metropole orchestra (2012) were awesome and last night Todd's brew of electronica added another string to his bow.
Same setlist as at recent shows and the new album sounded fresh as well as older tracks like Secret Society and recent Reproduction and Liars songs. Todd was in fine voice (as always) and ably supported by Jesse and Prairie.
Great sound and lightshow and an amazing vibe thanks to the fans who have been Keenly anticipating this new show !
Pre gig meeting place was at the appropriately named State Bar where Todd fans from Scotland, England, France, USA and Alaska (!) mingled and shared their Todd experiences while his songs were played in the background.
We were lucky to be invited to the aftershow where Todd, Prairie &Jesse happily posed for photos and graciously chatted to fans.
A big thank you to Todd superfan/dj Jill Mingo for making this happen.
Todd, you never disappoint - thanks for another memorable evening in your company.
