Cleveland review

Todd's show in Cleveland tonight was easily his best here in the last 20 years. To put it simply, Todd was "ON". Vocals (even though you could tell he was getting past a cold, he was amazing...how'd he manage for 2 hours so well?!), guitar prowess, and his unmistakable humor...he was "ON". The set list was diverse and did not disappoint. Easily the best show I've seen him do in the last 15 years. No obvious blunders (outside of those he intentionally caused, and the issues that were beyond his control...left side of stage had a power outage, Jessie's guitar failed during Love of the Common Man for a few moments, and he made a relatively effortless switch to correct the problem midway through). Except for the few morons that had to yell something at the quietest point of Hawking, I was proud to be a Clevelander at a Todd show, for a change. And ya know when Todd nails Hawking and "Medley" (plus Marvin Gaye tune), he's more than mind bending. There's only one Todd. He very much showed up in Cleveland tonight. A show of this caliber is what keeps us coming back for more (in my case, since 1977)! Thanks Todd, and band!! By the way, what was "solo" about this show? Ah, who cares....
