The 2004 Liars show was for me, a musical epiphany and a game changer. (ToddStock, Vegas, LA, and on and on and on...) And because of it, I've made dozens, even hundreds of new friends from around the planet.

But the AWATS Akron shows, from a pure entertainment and excitement standpoint, were unrivaled. And it is likely no single show will ever again compare with them.

Everything about these shows was first class. No, world class!

Doug & Mel, the pre-party(!), the theatrics of the show, the band, the "opening" band (Wow!), the most wonderful crowd in the known universe and of course, that spectacular album performed live.

And for a couple of days, TR fans owned that town. (As well as the RRHOF in Cleveland!) And the hotel. But in a fantastic way! And I suppose that our unique secret society left a wonderful and loving imprint there that will not be forgotten for a very long time...
