Naperville Ribfest Show Review

Was worried the show would be cancelled because of the weather. (Have been to Ribfest with the sole purpose of seeing a performer who ended up cancelling because of the weather). Figured it was worth the risk of the ticket price if the show did go on. Once in and at the stage area I knew I made the right choice. There was a delay on the start time of the show and I was worried about the set being cut short but that wasn't the case either. Pretty sure this was the setlist in this order
1. Love in Action
2. Black and White
3. Black Maria
4. Open My Eyes
5. Trapped
6. I Saw the Light
7. Mad
8. Afraid
9. Mercenary
10. Gun
11. Courage
12. Weakness
13. Strike
14. Pissin
15. Today
16. Bardo
17. Mountaintop
18. Panic
19. Manup
20. Love of the Common Man
21. Couldn't I Just Tell You
22. Just One Victory
The band was tight. Todd's vocals were amazing. The new material stands up well (I would dare say better) than the older stuff. There were definitely some hardcore Todd fans out there. There was a large video screen were you could get close up views of the musicians or people in the crowd and there was one guy singing along to Trapped who was so into it that I pulled my copy of Oops! Wrong Planet off the shelf as soon as I got home.

Excellent show. Glad I went and hope Todd keeps the good tunes coming.
