I wasn't looking forward to the Todd Rundgren concert, but my sister, now 49 has been listening to his music since she was a freshman in high school and I was in 6th grade. When I bought the tickets for her birthday present, I thought we were going to get an evening of lovely tunes like "Hello its me" and "I Saw The Light in Your Eyes" - Well, I couldn't have been more wrong. I had no idea that on the other side of the wall between my sister's bedroom and mine was really good music -

The venue in Houston was fantastic. We stood the whole night at attention, listening to the anger-filled music - hearing the lyrics through the deep threaded instruments - each guitar adding dimension. I couldn't take my eyes off the fingers, all the fingers not just Todd's, cascading and pounding along the long strings - bringing fire, peace, anger, energy and determination to my passion-filled soul.

Todd is so approachable, unpretentious and funny. That man is hysterical. And he looks good. His personality is so captivating I could listen to him go on and on. I hated when the evening ended even though I knew I had to be at work at 7:30 the next morning.

Todd you gained another fan and anyone who hasn't seen him needs to go - the show had everything - amazing music, exciting moments, political commentary, laughs and an amazingly devoted crowd. This is the way a concert should be - small, alive, impassioned and approachable. Why aren't more musicians like Todd Rundgren? Who cares - we got him!
