westbury show

last night show really surprised me. The Cars old songs carry over really well to the 21 century. Elliot plays a mean guitar and jammed out a lot on each song. That was a surprise to me. a little bit of a jam band. This venue is very intimate, for those not familiar with the venue it has a rotating stage and you sit around the stage. but any seat in the house is amazing. The place was a little more than half full. Does anyone remember Todd's signature little dance step he used to do . well all night long he was dancing up a storm. At the end of the show Elliot noticed a girl dancing up a storm in the audience and brought her up on stage. boy could she dance...

This was a very powerful show. To bad the tour is not selling out, they deserve to play to a full venue. It is so obvious that everyone on stage is really enjoying themselves.

Highlights of the show was a amazing version of black Maria. and the dueling guitar work with Elliot and Todd

Michele and Todd arrived late so the meet and greet didn't include them. the plane they took from NC had problems and was delayed. They were with Rex over the prior few days. I meet up with Michele and Todd after the show. what a beautiful person she is on the inside and outside .. Todd is obviously enjoying playing with these guys.
