This was the start of a GREAT WEEKEND! 3 days in 3 different states by myself. Unbelievable! I flew into Nashville early and was lucky enough to check-in, couldn't sleep though was too excited, I got a whole 3 hrs. of sleep before I left. Decided to check out Nashville and the Wildhorse Saloon, their web site was great, it gave a lot of info. One thing I noticed about Nashville is a lot of bars and churches. It was 92 that day - HOT! I went to the Wildhorse Saloon first and it was Fantastic! This was my favorite place out of the 3 days in part because of the heat and the concert being inside. 3 floors of wood, bars, tables & chairs and the first floor in the center also had couches. I've never seen couches at a concert place before. The people at the gift shop were so nice and had a lot of great info. Grabbed a sandwich and listened to this guy play his guitar at the place where I ate. Tried to talk this denist into going to the concert and giving him all the info on it, don't know if he did or not. He was from St. Louis and couldn't understand how I could see a pop/rock band in Nashville! Went back to the hotel got ready and went back to the Wildhorse Saloon and stood in line where I met these 2 Fantastic women that I ended up sitting with during the concert. We had great seats, we were able to take pictures and mine turned out great Thanks Todd! We had a great waiter and the back up band was really good, sounded just like Billy Joel but it was long.

The New Cars were Fantastic and the sound was Great! Dueling guitars by Todd & Elliott - WOW and Kasim singing Drive & All Mixed Up and the Sax by Greg and great keyboards and Prairie is just an Unbelievable drummer! This is why I came. Also, to see and hear Black Maria, Open My Eyes, I really LOVE the whole show but my Favorite is WARM! The guys were nice enough to sign my set list that I had gotten from the Mystic Lake concert in Minnesota (back in May) from a crew guy by the name of Greg who said I wouldn't remember him after he gave it to me. I don't believe Todd came out after and the ladies I met were nice enough to drive me back to my hotel. I had such a great time, now on to Milwaukee!

Rock Love, Karen
