Basically the exact same show as the one in Philly back in April but The World Café is more intimate and acoustically superior to TLA (Fillmore, whatever) and it seemed apparent to the guys as they all seemed to be in a great mood. Guitars were blistering and the bass and drums were thumping - great job by Mike Urbano! No offense to Tony Levin and Jerry Marotta but this rhythm section just smokes and of course the addition of Kasim’s backing vocals just takes it to the next level. Lots of good banter from Todd about local sports and cutting his teeth on the blues in the “plantations of Philly”. My 15th TR show overall but the first one where I left with ears ringing – in a good way!
