The show was great! Todd hadn't been to the Crescent City since Liars. It was great to hear him again. The House of Blues is such a intimate venue. This night was special for me because my 18 year old son was going with me to see Todd for his first time. He was so excited! Thanks to a friend, we were also guests in the HOB Foundation Room, a trip just to that is an experience! We started the show on the balcony, but quickly moved down to the floor after scoping out a good spot to see. The whole show was great, there's no way I could pick a favorite song of the night. My favorite introduction of a song was for Mystified. Todd of course informed the audience for those that didn't know, that he was from Philadelphia. Mississippi, that is. Then about how he grew up as a poor sharecropper's son there, and one day he and his friends were sharing crop, and they invented the blues. Then of course he busted in to Mystified. The band was tight, Jesse can play! Like everyone else, I wanted more too, especially after hearing Hawking and Worldwide Epiphany for the encore.

Most importantly, there's a new Todd fan in the family. My son said is was the best night of his life.

*****Same playlist from the HOB Dallas show on 12/2/07*****Todd quipped that he hadn't taken a single request this century, and the show was on a prefixed menu!
