Let me begin by noting that, despite a spectacular day weatherwise and my expectation of a great seat since I arrived so early, my expectations were muted a little after hearing how great the previous night's show at BB King's was. This, along with the small line at the door, made me wonder if this would turn out to be a half-hearted 'throw-away show' to a half-empty room. I was pleased to meet some cool long-time fans in line (hey Shelly, Barb & Bob, and Mike) so I knew there'd be a good vibe with some loyal fans of O.H. At any rate, my expectations were far surpassed as this turned out to be a high-energy, powerful show that really rocked. Todd was in fine voice and played with emotion, Thankfully he did not defer to Jesse too much (nothing against Jesse who did a nice job), One thing I was curious about was seeing how Tony Levin sounded with Todd and I was not disappointed - especially glad he pulled out the stick for Worldwide Epiphany. I'll leave setlist etc for others to discuss but I just wanted to note that I would definitely see this lineup if you get a chance. What may from the outside have looked like a show in the middle of nowhere on a Tuesday night, turned out to be an excellent, intense show. Thanks Todd and the cool fans who helped make this show special.
