Having paid the exorbitant sum for the 'meet and greet' - which was fine, by the way -we were herded into the venue to find Kasim Sultan there. He was onstage as we arrived, and stated the rest of the band was still enroute and he would play a bit as long as we didn't "tell on him".

He was charming as usual and very good performing solo.

When the band aarrived we were herded into the back after being told - "don't touch Elliot (THE SHOULDER INJURY) and if you see Deborah Harry (we did) - do not ask for an autograph - (we didn't). All got their pic taken after signing autographs - and onto the pre-party!

Kasim again joined and conducted a trivia contest ( I won for knowing Todd's birthddate and place, as well as knowing AWATS trivia) and karaoke.

There was a rain delay for this outdoor venue, But Blondie came on and were great. Unf - Deborah Harry had to state "At least you didn't get pissed (rained) on." Yep, you guesed it - within seconds the skies opened up. Still a great time!

After the intermission the New Cars came on. Nobody was more surprised than me as to how good the show was. I enjoyed the Cars music immensely and Todd's solo stuff was fantastic.

I just wish the accident had never happened so I could have enjoyed the experience all over again in Atlantic City on 6/24.

I hope the pit stop ends soon!
