After being initally sceptical about Todd doing a tour with Joe Jackson and a String Quartet, I loved Ethel (such exciting playing, really involving the audience), Joe Jackson was excellent (I’m not a fan, but I am now! It was a brilliant performance – what a voice, and what great piano playing), then Todd started with ‘Love of the common man’ followed by ‘Cliche’. What more could anyone ask for?
He also did ‘Viking song’ and ‘Hawking’ on the piano, ‘Hide your love away’, ‘Stood up’ (a great version at the end with Joe Jackson and Ethel) and I loved every minute of it.
Thank you Todd, Joe and Ethel for one of the best nights of my life.
