so TR is either an uncaring drunk or the greatist artist ever in the minds of his many diehard fans .....?????
well, as a lifelong fan and a person who has attended over 40 concerts since 1998, i can tell you he is now and always will be a wizard, a true star.....and he knows it.....which may in fact lead to part of the problem!
our boy hasn't challenged himself nor has he been extremely well prepared or diverse in his solo efforts ......he knows i ( we ) will be there and appreciative of what he does......and dammit - i am !
BUT ....oh, i would like so much more ......and i know he is capable of so much more.....and so, i am a little, just a little disappointed......
god, i love todd......he has meant so much to me....no other artist has come close to touching me the way he has....no other artist has gotten me through the night, through a divorce, through a 'displacement' after 28 years on the same job....through my life.....and while i know it is not fair of me to expect so much from him.....i do!
he will always be in the cd player, he will always be in my heart and he will always be on a pedestal .....and while i know that isnt' fair - i know he is the very best there has ever been !!
