I have not seen a Todd show in years and I knew what to expect from reviews I had read.
It was interesting to see who much talent he has at base level. For someone who didn't give a shit, he was pretty entertaining.
The crowd was very apologetic, at least audibility. Part of me wishes that he would screw up more so he might actually get booed. Then he'd get the message to shape up.
The way he sees it, either way he gets paid. In a lot the other postings I have read here, they confirm what I was already thinking but afraid to utter.
That....
He was Drunk as a Skunk
His tempo was lost in the ether
His appearance was that of someone drunken uncle who
just woke up for a weekend binge and put on anything
(though the pants were tasteful)
Joe Jackson was excellent. I am probably going to get more into him form his fabulous performance. If he was not there, I would have felt really ripped off by Todd's performance.
