St. Louis show

We'd like to offer a slightly different opinion regarding the 5-7 show. Having attended Todd/Utopia/solo/a cappella/big band/small band/pod/power trio/etc concerts for 28 years, the only time we felt disappointed was when the Lincoln Park Zoo made Todd stop playing at 10 pm. That night, his performance was as quirky, off-center, and professional as it has always been.

The Orpheum show was simply incredible, Todd's contribution included. We were thrilled to get to see him again and felt his performance was top shelf. He had the audience laughing, cursing, clapping, and singing along on several toons. In many ways it was magical, just what you'd expect from a concert long anticipated. And Joe Jackson, Ethel, and an appreciative audience deserve much credit in creating that magic as well. The collective talent on stage was palatable. Each act was unique yet blended to create an evening of awesome entertainment. Thanks to all for making Saturday night in St. Louis a memorable one.
