My friend Rich and I were really excited about this show and it proved to be worth being excited about.

Ethel was both easy listening and enchanting and I can't understand the logic in waiting and talking in the lobby during the opening acts but some people do and hey - whatever floats your boats!!!

I had never seen Joe Jackson but I have listened to him for years and I thought he had great stage presence and good humour. My only knock would have been that he left out some songs that I really wanted him to play. It seems only the mega acts like the Eagles do a greatest hits show these days as they are pre-programmed for it by something or other.

When Todd began my friend was amazed at his voice. I still can't believe at how he belts them out.

I've been to ALOT of Todd shows- as far back as the seventies when he and Utopia headlined the Nassau Colisium and this show was in the high middle range- I would say about an 8 on a scale of one to 10. I base this not on flubs or sound quality- but rather on the song list and overall energy of the show. Love of the common man is my favorite song so the show was a hit for me!!!!

I am sooooooo glad that he mentioned that "WE NOW USE AIR MONITERS BECAUSE WE ARE STARTING TO TAKE CARE OF OUR HEARING"- MY FELLOW TODD FANS A NOTE TO THE WISE- TAKE CARE OF YOUR HEARING TOO!!!! I HAVE LOST ALOT OF IT- NOW I USE SPECIAL EARPLUGS THAT ENABLE ME TO HEAR THE MUSIC- BUT NOT AT EARPIERCING DECIBLES. IF TODD IS PROTECTING HIS HEARING- WE ALL SHOULD TOO!!! PEACE TO ALL AND HAVE A SAFE YEAR.
