Last night I saw one the top 5 concerts I have ever seen in my life. I had never heard of Ethel, but the short 30 minute set by this string quartet was great. Joe Jackson was the big surprise. Alone, with just the grand piano, his set was the highlight of the night (and I came to see Todd). TR was, of course, really good. My only complaint is that he only played a 40 minute set. The encore where all three played together was incredible - I wish they had played the whole 2 hour show that way. It was interesting seeing Todd play rhythm guitar on "Black Maria", and not do his normal leads. Very good restraint. If you can see this tour, you will be be happy.
