Great Show In Pompano!

As a long time TR fan and an avid TR concertgoer, tonight's show at the Pompano Amphitheater was excellent. TR was in great vocal form, song selection was varied with gems such as Tiny Demons (best version I have ever heard) to Beloved Infidel. TR was energetic, humorous, and highly appreciative of the crowd vibe. Ethel is a unique way to open the show, and while string quartets are not my favorite, they were obviously very talented musicians and the audience was supportive. As a person that only knew of Joe Jackson from some of his hits years ago, I was very impressed with his musicianship. He is a phenomenal pianist, his voice was in terrific form, and had wonderful rapport with the crowd. When TR came on stage, everyone was psyched and he did not disappoint. I will not go through his whole song list, but he really performed a dynamic set that included excellent versions of (in addition to the aforementioned songs) Love of the Common Man, Afterlife, Song of the Viking, Black Maria, Cliche, Compassion, Black and White, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, and others. Make no mistake...TR is in great form, vocally, instrumentally and energy wise. This is a tour every TR fan or music fan should check out!!
