Gig Royal festival Hall 15th July 2004

Mixed reviews abound for this show. I thought it was great. People should understand that TR has never been one to stand still. We would all have liked to hear our favourites (I go back 30 years so a show of my favourites would take several days!), TR is a man to look forward, not back.

The RFH is well known for poor acoustics so no suprise the sound wasn't the best.TR's singing was the strongest I have heard in all the shows I've seen over the years.

Yes I would have preferred the Big Band sound with Jenny,Michelle & Shandi on backing vocals, but I was happy after a ten year absence to see the man back. Don't leave it so long for your next visit Todd and thanks for 30 Years.
