He was amazing. I wish the miserable reviewers would give Our Boy a break. There are enough Destroyers and Criticisers. Here he was in the flesh after all these years – and pleased to see us, too. Why give the man such a hard time? No wonder he only ventures here occasionally.
He has never been stuck in a time warp, otherwise he wouldn’t be the revered artist he is - so the new material needed to be aired and enjoyed.
If he had played for 6 hours we’d have still wanted more. Thank God for Todd. He is still the best.
