Ted in Carrboro

Excellent show by Ted last night at the Cat's Cradle in Carrboro. His voice sounded strong with a little of that bluesy rasp he has these days. I'd never heard "Buffalo Grass" live before and it was great. A computer glitch at the start of "Mammon" altered the set list as the boys launched into "ISP" then delivered "Mammon" and an absolutely blistering "Fascist Christ." "Born To Synthesize" was just as good as it was on the With A Twist tour. Ted brought it all home with two great encores, "Hello It's Me" and "Just One Victory." The band was superb, especially Jesse Gress. Buy the new CD and see this show. Neither will disappoint.
