Tennesee Theatre review

Review by Kerry (Switch to

Wow, Todd really played awesome! His voice was definatly still in tact and in my opinion, he sang really great.

Here's the setlist from the Tennesee Theatre-

Accoustic Guitar-

Love of the Common Man

I Don't Want To Tie You Down

Hammer In My Heart

Piano (made the comment that he loves retiring to the piano so he can sit down, pretty funny)-

Viking Song (towards the end, got really fast, which was neat, not to mention funny)

It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference

Free, Male and 21

Hello, It's Me (loved the way he started this one)

Bang The Ukelele Daily (his lovely Hawaiian war chant)

Tiny Demons

You've Got To Hide Your Love Away (the crowd really got into this one. we all helped with the heys)

Bossa Nove MP3-

I Saw The Light

Can We Still Be Friends

I Want You

One World

The Wheel (guitar)

A Dream Goes On Forever (piano)

I don't really recall him doing Black and White. After the show, a few of us stayed around out back in the cold, waiting for Todd himself to come out. We stood out there, waiting for a chance to meet him and get an autograph from him. I personally didn't mind it, I was too excited. I was really really happy about finally meeting the man himself, for including that concert, I've seen him three times. Last time I saw him was 1999 at the Tiki bar on June 11, on his birthday. This time, it was my turn for a birthday. The best 14th birthday present was getting the man, Todd Rundgren, to autograph my Individualist CD. It was such a good time for me, and hopefully I'll be able to see him again sometime. Once again, it was an awesome setlist, excellent preformance.  Todd is a very nice man and I'm so glad I finally got to meet him and talk with him a little.
