Chastain Park

I gotta say, before anything that this place really creeped me out. O.K. I get it and all that: "Gee Buffy let's take a picnic basket stuffed with wine and cheese down to the park and see tonight's show. Alright Muffin, but don't forget the candelabra and the tablecloth. There was just this vibe going on that I sensed was just not right. And if I'm not mistaken, as I have heard that some performers do at this venue, Todd couldn't really "connect" with this crowd either. I guess I just thought this was going to be a little friendlier territory, but boy was I mistaken.

Thangs got better once the sun finally went down, and when Todd joined Hall and Oates for the finale, It seemed that Todd was having more fun and grooving with group. As far as the sets, Todd left out "Hammer in my Heart" and as eluded in other reviews they added "Hot Fun in the Summertime."

The highlights for me were the frequent guitar solos during the HnO encore set, the slowed down "vegas" version of Parallel Lines, and the shared and interchanged leading vocals on the combined encore set. Well that's all I got to say about that, and I'm sticking to it. But why do I all of a sudden have the urge to go out and by BMW and join the country club?
