Great show, Todd let it all out tonight. It was great to see and hear him into it so much.
The Power Trio started out strong, seemed to get a little tired at the middle, then kicked butt at the end.
My favorites were IHMFISP, #1 LCD, Cliche, Open My Eyes, the Ikon, Yer Fast, Buffalo Grass, and the finish of One World, Hammer in my Heart and World Wide Epiphany.
If you like TR on guitar, you gotta see this show.
Some tidbits:
- after playing Temporary Sanity, Todd said, "we must be crazy to play that one"
- Kasim was bouncing his broken foot to the beat during the show, especially at the end
- TR played a Rickenbacker guitar for one tune that appeared to have a John Lennon signature on it
- Todd also played a guitar I had never seen before - a Yamaha that was sorta like a Les Paul
- He said his green guitar is named "Foamy"
Todd gave me a "five" while walking off at the end of the show. I said "thanks for a great show" and he just smiled........I was smiling too.
