The Ringo All Starr Tour - Connecticut Sat. Feb 20th/99

Hi there!

My husband and I just got back yesterday (Sun) from the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and saw Ringo and his All Starr Band. Of course, we went mainly to see Todd, not Ringo. It would have been nice if Joe Walsh would have been there but anyway, we went to see Todd. Nice state, Connecticut!

Anyway, we had a great time and Todd was excellent. Todd and Jack played well off each other - these two should get together and really tour! Simon Kirke as well. Todd looked great in his skirt (a la the Letterman show back in November??) and shades. He did three of his hits - "I Saw the Light", "Hammer in My Heart" and "Bang the Drum" so the same ones as the fellow in New York heard. We were pissing off a few Ringo fans when we started yelling "TODD!!!!!" in the quiet moments in between songs, but who cares??? Who would see Ringo, if not for his stellar rockers backing him up??

It was great - Todd was having a good time and they really got rocking on the Cream classics - excellent stuff! Todd more than holds his own on the guitar work originally done by Eric (Eric who??) - just kidding! But this was right up his alley!

Anyway, lots of fun, nice Casino in the middle of nowhere - (I guess most of them are) and I hope more people catch the tour later on. Connecticut was our best bet from Ontario (the couple that travelled the furthest to see a concert?? - perhaps).

Anyway, nice yacking at ya's.

Beth
