Many more to come-this is a tour not to miss- dont just nab the cd, go to a show-the beatles (no matter what anyone says) were clearly the greatest band ever and this tour only accentuates that fact. Catch it while you can-too late tomorrow..much better (in my opinion) than ringos greatest overplayed hits tours-these are the beatles (actually todd calls em the "dumb beatles") |

Not much yap at all. sound is strong and the performance is excellent. Vocs (esp background) in the show are strong. Same comments-todd steals the beatles set again and i heard a number of non toddites conceding the fact in the aisles after the show. This is complete and there will be a few more still coming in. The piano gets rougher and rougher as time goes on. Soon we will have gtr shows only or he will be forced to practice to even get thru the same tunes weve heard for years-since this is a two-off, we cant be too picky i guess. He did kick major ass on the abbey shows-so whatdya want??? i tell you what-there are few, if any folks who consistently deliver as good of quality as mr s-great sound with no distortion and little to zero yap. |

In fact-the recording is so good that it shows the troupe's harmonies are wavering and a bit sloppy in places but jeez they are copying the fab four in the studio and many songs which they never played live-performance is on par with the others.. GOLDEN SLUMBERS/CARRY THAT WEIGHT/THE END Note:this believe it or not has been passed around probably as widely as any awdar recording out there. what a shame because although the performance is good, the sound is one of the weaker from this tour with a higher level of yap than most and not as good fidelity as say, brooklyn, saratoga or most of the others..when will people stop trying to sell this crap? im sure if you go to your $25-$30 bootleg store, theyll have this and people who buy it will probably be marginally satisfied as its not that bad-its just that there are several better ones-but this is the one that shows up where they sell this stuff. please dont give these guys any of your money-if any money is to be exchanged, it should go to the artists-anyone who thinks differently (i think) is simply wrong and greedy and that is the problem that ruins everything for everyone. sorry to rant, this cd is average. UPDATE (10/6/03)- WELL MR WEESNERS IS better than the above for sure..it is a bit bassy but there are numerous highlights to mention-first of all-the night was recorded professionally and thats why there are a couple of false starts when todd and ann forget the words to while my gtr.. and maybe im amazed.... also the jeapordy theme preceeds bang the drum......my suggestion is to roll off the bass when you get this (entwhistle's rumble. RIP) and it opens up nicely...if you want this show-get this version for sure......and dont buy bootleg tr stuff, ok??????? thanks to mr w |

LIA sounds weird solo gtr wise but what the hell weve heard no1 lowest solo, so .. not as bad as people would say-some new key songs woulda been nice but this is probably the most enjoyable and least jarring show ive heard from this tour..(then again this is the first ive had to miss for a long time) recommended-great job by all 3. |

This is a very good dat recording. More to come soon. At least he pasted some different things together here- even though ive been harsh sometimes, i dont think this is that bad-his piano is actually way above the average lately on this one. |
