| Date Added:6/15/2013 Track List:SOUNDCHECK: MISC. INDIVIDUALIST TUNES JAM. BLACK & WHITE.FAMILY VALUES. DISC ONE: BLACK & WHITE. TEMPORARY INSANITY. NO. 1 LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR. FAMILY VALUES. HAMMER IN MY HEART. TABLES WILL TURN. DISC TWO: BELOVED INFIDEL. ESPRESSO. THE INDIVIUALIST. MYSTIFIED/BROKE DOWN & BUSTED. WOMAN'S WORLD. AUDIENCE CHATTER. BLACK MARIA. FACIST CHRIST (CUTS) Note:This one just in from the vaults. I found a DAT (and transferred it). Unknown authored audience recording that is not too bad. Acoustics/instrumentation pretty good but vocals sound distant and bassy. Shame too, because you can feel the energy that Todd always portrays for Philli. This show rocks! If the vocal phonics were up there, this would be a real collector's trophy. Maybe someday somebody may want to play around with it... and give her an upgrade. Any takers that can bring the vocals to the front? The Mystified/Broke Down & Busted Medley is ELECTRIC! Then there's tape slips and snaps/pops here and there in it. Damn it! A special collector's gem I also have here is the soundcheck! This is super rare! Don't know who the taper was....Thanks to Frank Bubnick for my copy. A little jam of pieces of 'Individualist' tunes, then 'Black & White' and 'Family Values'.~ Warren |

CAST THE FIRST STONE. NO 1 LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR. WORLDWIDE EPIPHANY Note:A very good audience recording... if I do say so myself....chuckle chuck... and some equalization done afterwards. Great Individualist set. Atlanta just loves this guy, you know. Only problem is, we shout out requests. You know how that goes with Todd. Blistering guitar here (and a lot of Jesse). And notice Todd threw in 'Lucky Guy'. AWESOME. The Theatre is like a very steep movie theater. I was a few rows back from the stage center right. The guy next to us pretty much ruins Mystified/Broke Down & Busted' with his screaming. Todd introduces Jesse as 'The Exterminator'? And thanks to Mosner (Moz) for his source recording of the last 4 tunes as well. Sounds like he was at a greater distance than me?~ Warren |

| 10/20/12 | w/ETHEL 'UNDER THE RA PYRAMID' @TREETOPS - DAN HARPLE'S PROPERTY NEW BEDFORD MA | AUDIO DUBBED FROM ‘CHRIS C.” VIDEO | 90:00 |
| Date Added:6/5/2013 Track List:TODD: I DON'T WANT TO TIE YOU DOWN. LOVE OF THE COMMON MAN. COMPASSION. BANG ON THE UKULELE. TODD AND ETHEL: FLAMINGO. ZEN ARCHER. SOUL BROTHER. MERCENARY . LORD CHANCELLOR'S NIGHTMARE SONG. COURAGE. STOOD UP. PRETENDING TO CARE. BLACK MARIA. MAN NA MAN NA. Note:This was an exceptional performance by Todd & Ethel, videoed by 'Pete C.' We dubbed the audio from it. And turns out pretty damn good actually. Very worthy of listening to on a couple of CDs! A quintessential fusion of string and rock arrangements. Ethel was in dynamic form and Todd came out rockin. You'll be very impressed by the combined musicianship of these professionals. It turns out that The venue was originally scheduled for the Zeiterion Theatre, but was later changed to a disclosed location on an estate owned by Dan Harple. This allowed for an unusual and intimate experience under the treetops and more importantly, under the huge RA pyramid 'prop from Todd's 1977 Utopia days. There is nothing like this 'one off' in the middle of a field with Todd and Ethel true to form. Seems Todd was gracious enough to meet and greet after the performance amongst this the small audience. This one is lot's of fun and a real 'keeper'. ESSENTIAL` Warren |

CHAIN LETTER. PARALLEL LINES. UNLOVED CHILDREN. HELLO IT'S ME. REAL MAN. FEEL IT. WANT OF A NAIL. Note:"CHICAGO (April 2, 2013) – The Columbia College Chicago Music Department welcomes musician, songwriter and producer Todd Rundgren as its last 'artist-in-residence' of the Spring 2013 semester from April 8-12. Rundgren will bring his knowledge and experience to workshops, master classes and classroom instruction, ending with a residency concert on April 12 at the Music Center."~ Columbia.edu newsletter. This was an absolutely wonderful concert. The student ensembles were magnificent and the synergy between the students and Todd was a beautiful thing to behold. Congratulations on a terrific event! This is actually the audio grabbed from the audience video done by University students.... so it's 'Pro-grade' soundboard quality. Love the setlist. These students rock! Included was an incredible, first time ever performed, live rendition, of 'Chain Letter' (Ballad of Todd Rundgren 1971) too. Another real surprise is Todd & The Ensemble's performance of their own recent studio recording (Todd calls it a difinite 'Hit Single')- 'Why Is It When The Rain Falls'....Wow!~ Warren |

CROWD Note:We'll just share this review by Jay Petrarca as opposed to our critique.chuckle chuck: "I waited a week to write this review so as to give myself some time to calm down. I've been a Todd fan since 1980 and have gone to well over 60 shows. I love going to Todd Rundgren concerts. To me it doesn't matter what kind of music he plays I want to see him perform. I went into this performance blind. I didn't read the reviews or the setlists (I don't think any were posted). I knew from a Todd interview to expect lights and lots of dancing. I thought and hoped that he would open with Imagination. I thoroughly enjoyed that number. But after that I must admit I was somewhat disappointed and it has nothing to do with the music. My biggest disappointment was that he play for only an hour and 1/2. I drove well over two hours with two of my brothers and we all paid close to 80 bucks to see a 90 minute show. Now, I know Todd doesn't set the price, but 90 minutes? That's weak, IMHO. There's no reason he couldn't have added another 30 minutes. Also, he didn't play the guitar except for the first song. During the NWO tour he jammed on Secret Society, why not this time? He was just pushing buttons. And lastly, I wasn't thrilled with the encore. Maybe if I got two hours worth of music it wouldn't have been so bad. But the Donna Summer ending... I wish I had the chance to watch the PPV first. I would've saved 60 bucks and 7 hours of my time. I will be going to future Todd shows, but only if I get my money's worth." Superd audience recording however. Thank you Jon!~ Warren |

I grabbed the audio from the streaming live show… and If you like ‘State’, then you will love this…. and it is essential to you. The album performed live in its entirety, and flawlessly except for a false beginning to Truth. Jesse does the guitar work here…. and Prairie on the electronic drums and DJ Odd Todd on Vocals and Computer. The medleys done in a unique fashion between ‘With a Twist’, jazz and dance prog fusion. Nothing to Lose and Personality Crisis are particular surprises too. Certainly a show that is as meant to be seen as is to hear. Of course strictly a ‘dance’ presentation. And it will get you tapping your feet. Listed for collection listing purposes only. This is an Official/Professional Webcast Recording. And can be purchased/viewed though Nevessa Productions (until September 2013). Go buy it it! You won't be dissapointed. ESSSENTIAL. And the procedes go to Todd. |
