In honor of Todd Rundgren's 65th Birthday, and the celebration at Toddstock II v.6.5 in Louisiana, the Todd Rundgren Fan Family Compassion Fund will be sending some love to the Youth Orchestra of the Lower 9th Ward.
Todd personally supports this project, and it is a wonderful opportunity for our community of Utopians to "give back" to another community in need. All are invited to participate!
The Todd Rundgren Museum was opened nearly three years ago, and underwritten by visionaries that wanted to provide a virtual location to preserve images of Todd Rundgren memorabilia for the enjoyment of fans worldwide. It has been developed and operated as an independent site under the stewardship of the TR Connection. To continue to provide this resource, it’s necessary to renew the web hosting service for another three year period. As a result, funds are being solicited to cover those hosting costs: $250 for three years of free, unrestricted museum access to all fans.
If you would like to see the Todd Rundgren Museum continue, please consider making a small donation to keep the museum alive. The Todd Rundgren Connection is conducting this fundraiser.
To make a donation via PayPal, just visit the site and click on the PayPal link at the bottom of the page. You may also donate through the TR Connection site. Any excess funds collected will be used to support the TR Connection site.
You may also contribute your own virtual collectibles to the Todd Rundgren Museum. Contact me if you’d like to be a curator. webmaster@toddrundgrenmuseum.com

Todd Rundgren is a true original in popular music. A highly creative and diverse musician, his work has earned him a vast and loyal global following and immense respect from his musical peers. As a songwriter, video pioneer, producer, recording artist, computer software developer, conceptualist, and interactive artist, Rundgren has made a lasting impact on both the form and content of popular music. His production work with such stylistically diverse artists as MEAT LOAF, NEW YORK DOLLS, PATTI SMITH, GRAND FUNK RAILROAD, THE TUBES, XTC, CHEAP TRICK, PSYCHEDELIC FURS, AND HALL & OATES has firmly placed him among the gifted elite of musicians and producers.
Esoteric Recordings label manager Mark Powell said; “It really is an honour for all of us at Esoteric and Cherry Red to be given the chance to work with such a ground-breaking icon as Todd Rundgren on his next studio album. Throughout his career Todd has continually thrilled and surprised with his music and I’m sure his next album will continue this fine tradition and legacy.”

Todd Rundgren is a musical enigma — seemingly even to himself. How can one man travel so far from the mainstream, yet continually interact with that mainstream in ways so interchangeably valid and inexplicably ham-fisted?A Wizard, A True Star: The Unusual Career of Todd Rundgren
