EDITORIAL (per Ron Hromoko):
picked up tix today. the venue is small. *the* bar is even smaller.
a sign inside said 'max cap: 560'. i'd be surprised if they get 250
in there.
the two-foot high stage is anchored in a corner facing out. under
the stage, there is sand. this is supposed to help the sound from
booming too much. the stage is small, triangular; perhaps 20' at it's
longest point. i hopped up on stage, turned around, and found some
small tables built into wooden bleachers. they rub in that coconut
wood-conditioning oil, so everything smells like you're in hawaii or
an Islands restaurant.
against a facing wall is a huge blue banner. in white capital letters:
11/2 TODD RUNDGREN
11/1 (somebody else)
the letters were at least a foot high. cool!
