Buffalo August 1

This was my second show on the Arena tour and my 70th show since 1982. (I count Utopia, Ringos All Starr Band shows in the mix as well, never saw TNC) Todd never ceases to amaze me, and even though the set list was the same as it was a few nights before, you could feel a different vibe, Todd and co really fed off of the sold out crowd at the Tralf.

There were some funny moments, like when a middle-aged chunky guy in a baseball hat plopped himself on the floor in front of the stage and then got up and danced later while the whole crowd watched. (There was an area in front of the stage for wait staff traffic), There was also a lady who danced furiously all night over on stage left.

From a technical standpoint, the show was flawless and the band has really jelled as a unit. Rachel and Prairie make a fantastic rhythm section.

Another thing to note about this band, they are good to their fans. I met the whole crew after the Rochester and Buffalo shows, and they were beyond courteous. My 14-year-old son is a huge Jesse Gress fan and was thrilled when Jesse chatted with us out back after the show. He is a class act !!! Todd joked that for my 75th show I get a set of cookware.

As this tour closes, I just want to say thanks for the great memories and thanks to Todd and company for all you do for your fans, we appreciate it, that is why we keep coming back !
