Todd's got a great band with him. Jesse and Prairie, who need no introduction, are always there and on the mark. Matt Bolton definitely held his own with the old pros and helped keep things sounding full. Rachel has also proven herself to be quite an asset to the band as well. Of course, on the downside though, if you're like me, you may find yourself a bit smitten with Rachel, who has a killer smile and is oh so very sweet. Ol' Kas may be cute and all, but Rachel...well, I digress.
I was really looking forward to this show and Todd & Co., did not disappoint. And I have to say that much of my anticipation was for the new songs. After seeing five of the Liars shows and playing the album to death without remorse, I had wondered if Todd would be able to top his 2004 masterpiece. And since I've only heard the new material once, I’d have to say that it's still too early to tell. But, I have a good feeling about the Arena album and believe that it will definitely give Liars a run for its money.
People have said this previously, but it really should be reiterated. If you have a chance to see this show – DO IT! There are only two left before Todd heads off into Pepperland for a spell, so if you're on the fence, hemming, hawing or just an old stick in the mud, cut it out already and DO IT! You won't be disappointed.
