The show overall went without a hitch. I enjoyed most of the new songs from Arena. It can be a challenge at times to have 3/4 of a concert focused on new material, but from my experience that was the most enjoyable experience I think I could have had listening to new music. I would have of course enjoyed more previously released material, whether from Liars or Runt, but hey, hopefully Todd will be back soon. The biggest bummer of the night was the sound. I was lucky enough to sit in the front row, but overall it was a little too loud but more of the issue it was too jumbled of a mix. I had a really hard time hearing the lyrics of the songs, much less any of the nuances of the instruments.
Todd Rocks. I have always loved his spirit, his music, his voice. I look forward to seeing him again. Soon.
