O.H. had quite the buzz on from the start. Add on the return from Japan and
a gig the night before, the results could have been Melbournian. But it
wasn't. Sure, TR had to really struggle with his voice(and lyrics) but he
played with great energy and stamina and was pretty funny. His sense of
humor was in force. The band did an incredible job backing him (as well as
helping fastening his axe and such...). TR's riffs were as hot as ever, no
doubt fueled by blues juice, and despite whatever limitations he was
experiencing vocally or otherwise, he and the boys put on a fun and powerful
performance. TR did a phenomenal job with Hawking, overcoming shredded vocal
chords and giving an "A" performance.
Overall, they were blazing, Jesse tearin' it up powered with Kaz and
Prairie holding it all together. Looking forward to Miami
