Todd in Chicago, Part 2

There could be no more fitting ending for this amazing tour than a capacity crowd groovin' along with great music inside the Park West, radiating warmth and love, while the famous Chicago wind and snow whipped around the lakefront.

As I write this, our intrepid band members are undoubtedly making their way to their respective homes and reuniting with their loved ones, and those of us who were lucky enough to take part in these shows are happily living with our memories.

The January 31 show was BIG FUN. My husband and I were fortunate enough to get fantastic seats directly in front of Kaz, and we had the pleasure of being pelted with several of his guitar picks.

There is a lot of excitement in Chicago right now over the upcoming Illinois Primary on February 5, especially since both Dem candidates hail from Chicago. Ever the diplomat, TR made it clear that he was pleased with both candidates and would not endorse one over the other. Good for him!

Since everything that could have been said about the show has probably already been said, I'd like to share a little Haiku that popped into my mind as the excitement was building and we were looking at the empty stage, waiting for the show to begin.

TR's Guitar
Foamy waits onstage
Artist's hands awaken strings
Music fills the world

Peace & Love, Jean Lachowicz
