Felix's Fish House Show

Always great to see todd. My 25 y/o son came along and having heard alot of todd's music growing up and being an avid concert goer , it was interesting to get his take on the show. As reported in the other cities , the set list was great ..#1 lowest common denominator - mystified -tiny demons -worldwide epiphany- black maria - really cool to hear todd do those live. the band sounded great, all excelllent musicians. I was at the front so, probably lost a little of the vocals and todd's guitar could (and always should) have been a little louder. My son thought todd sang with determination and enjoyed the show and commented - "old people who have been drinking are alot more fun than young people who are drinking" - go figure! All in all despite the weirdness of the venue ( in the middle of nowhere ,but thank goodness)......a really great show. Hawking in my mind was the highlight....Jesse is a very good guitarist and it was sweet hearing him play fill in stuff . Always wanting and waiting on todd to do some new material.With this tour and the Cars tour under way, I know he doesn't get much time, but Liars was such a treat.....and it is always good to see him life (even the solo acoustic shows are cool).......but will be glad to hear some new stuff. Rock on todd! let's show the world that age is a state of mind and music is the heaking touch we all need...robert neyland
