What a great show with a great set of musicians for Todd to be performing for a few weeks. I could have done, as well as others around me, without the opening act. In the over 60 times I have seen Todd/Utopia perform I can only count twice where an opening act worked. Seeing Todd always gives me the ability to reconnect with at least 5 or 6 fans once or twice a year.
Jesse Gress's guitar playing is amazing. I have learned more from watching him and reading his guitar cookbook than my 20 years of guitar lessons.
The set list was a very good mixture from the past 35 years of Todd & Utopia. I would like to see this set of 4 musicians perform again in the fall after The New Cars tour is over.
