Well thats 98 shows in less than 14 months. From Tokyo to N.Y. to England! 24 more to go! How much longer will I get to see Todd touring as often as this I don't know. So many of his innovative contemporaries have retired or semi-retired or worse. I do know I've taken advantage of every opportunity to see him lately and have been savoring it like a fine wine. Thanks Todd. Thanks go out to Joe and Ethel too!! One thing has bothered me though. I don't think Todd should have made the apology. So many of you obviously showed you didn't deserve it. It brought out a certain sadistic, vicious, antagonistic element with their own agenda and demands. You wanted Todd to play note for note flawlessly the songs you wanted to hear, change his stage demeanor, etc. etc. on and on! Who the fuck are you? I find it curious that the Joe Jackson.com site has no kind of forum whatsoever for people to talk about anything. Recently I e-mailed Dave over there about this. If he gets it up and going then maybe some certain little kiddies and Mr. Joneses with their poison pencil in their hands could go play over there. You know who you are and what I mean.
