Right, I've read all the other reviews posted here and I would have posted mine sooner, but have had server problems the last few days. We got to the venue at about 7 pm and met up with EJ and a few others. She was all for smuggling me back stage with one of her passes, but I'm too honest and couldn't go for it. Also scared of coming across as a jibbering idiot, so decided we just won't go there!

I think the choice of venue probably did not suit everybody. We were in Row O in the centre and the sound quality was not bad at all from my point of view. Also not easy to get up from your seat. However, the people who have criticised the choice of songs are not really on target as far as I am concerned. This is a LIARS tour. For me he could have played the rest of the tracks from Liars and just a few of the older songs and that would have been the only thing that could have made it in any way better. If you want to see a gig from 1990 then see if the BBC will lend you the TARDIS and go back in time and watch it, otherwise shut up. Todd has moved on and most of his true fans move on with him. Sometimes we don't like everything he puts out, but LIARS is the best thing there has been in years, so the people who were expecting the old Todd were disappointed. The ironic thing for me is that last year when Todd was doing his solo thing Stateside, there were fans criticising him for just churning out the same old stuff and taking the loyalty of his fans for granted. My point here is that you can't please all of the people all of the time. I loved every moment of Thursday night. Sure there were some songs I would have loved to have heard that didn't get played and I'm sure that is true of everybody there, but the point is with Todds back catalogue that will always be the case. This gig was awesome and I will remember it forever. We are not all cynical moaners over here in th UK!!
