Todd mesmerized the crowd tonight with a hard rocking set based on themes from his latest album, LIARS. I feel many people are uncertain about how to handle so much religious and philosophical message attached to their music. And then they whine and cry when they don't get 2 hours of safe, perfect, happy readings of CAN WE STILL BE FRIENDS or HELLO, IT'S ME. Instead Todd is serving up hot portions of food for thought that can stimulate and enlighten the mind and the soul as well as the body and the heart! BRAVO!!!! Todd. The first part of the set features many recent songs BUFFALO GRASS, I HATE MY ISP as well as songs from LIARS, TRUTH, GOD SAID, and MAMMON stand out in my memory. The solo numbers were a nice chance to lower the decibel levels and let the band change into their "soul" outfits then the star did shine as he waxed poetic and soulful for another hour, SOUL BROTHER, PAST, FEEL IT all were wonderful. Then as if you couldn't ask for more came the encores, HELLO IT'S ME, JUST ONE VICTORY and a hard rockin WORLD WIDE EPIPHANY!
