"City in my head PEORIA" were the words that our hero adlibed on a couple of occasions during this historic performance in the historic Madison Theatre. This concert was quite a treat for me since I haven't seen him live in about 15 years! The set list was pretty much in the vein of what has been played at other shows. Highlights for me were "Hammer in My Heart," "One World," and "Black and White" which made it clear that Todd can still rock, even if he just has a single guitar. The piano numbers were perfect except for a minor flub on HIM. I was in awe after he pulled off "Viking Song" without a hitch. I think that Todd may have even picked up a few new fans judging by the responses that I heard. Royston Langdon was also great and well received-a great fit for this tour. The last time Todd was in Peoria was the "Oblivion" tour. I hope that it's now another 19 years before he returns.

Oh yeah, Todd was apparently snubbed by the Mark Twain Hotel for which he had reservations because they were "overbooked". Todd talked a little trash because of this. I hope that he found suitable accommodations and returns on his next tour!
