Todd "Unplugged",Boca Raton-Mizner Park

This was only the second time I have seen Todd live. The first was in a
stadium at FSU in Tallahassee more than 20 yrs ago, with Utopia for the RA
tour. Needless to say,Todd was not jumping off any pyramids this time. I
loved the acoustic/solo/outdoor nature of the show. It seemed very intimate.
I won't be too redundant with earlier reviews regarding setlists, etc.
However highlights for me personally were Love of the Common Man,Cliche, and
You've Got To Hide Your Love Away(Beatles cover,loved Todd's "Hey"),and
especially Hello,It's Me. As much as I love the original recorded
version, this acoustic live version blew me away. Chrissie Hynde paid Todd a
big compliment, saying"Todd is a hard act to follow,he was great wasn't he".
The local paper,South Florida Sun Sentinel wrote a review of the show, only
about The Pretenders, with no mention of Todd!
