One Long Set

What a great performance. Apparently Todd has finally hit stride with this tour. His voice was great and his playing was fine. Good loose rapport with the audience and even acknowledged the crowd away over on the side of the rectangular room (us). I haven't been to many shows where the artist looks beyond the front rows.

My first album was Nazz, my second was Sgt. Pepper, the third was Nazz Nazz. My favorite local band in college, American Dream. My wife being somewhat younger became a UTOPIA fan in college. I don't follow the forums that closely so by the time I landed tix we got a table pretty far back. Folks near us were ordering coffee before the end of the 5th song. Needless to say we didn't have a lot of sing-along participation in our area. Oh Well. Note: Get Closer Next Time.

Todd indicated he wasn't anxious to be back on the mainland, but One Long Year is such a great LP. I want another big ol' rock show. Thanks Todd and Jesse for a great evening.
