NYC BB Kings 7/23/01

I'm so glad we decided to go to this show, it truly was a memorable night. We were fortunate enough to be seated in the front row directly in front of Todd's piano. It was a pleasure to finally meet some of my online friends as well as some new friends.......Michelle M, Mike A, Tina, John, Chris, Shell and Linda.

BB Kings is a great venue, not a bad seat in the house. There were two screens in place, one on either side of the stage. The show was sold out and there were many non-ticket holding fans outside looking for tickets........I hope you got it.

Here's the set list:

Hammer in my Heart
Lysistrata
Cliche'
Love of the Common Man
Tiny Demons
West Virginia Girls (Folk tune from Harry Smith tribute)
I Don't Want to Tie You down

I Saw the Light (with Jesse *) Never Never Land * Can We Still Be Friends * Lady Madonna* Mated*

Next 4 on piano: It Wouldn't Have Made Any Difference Viking Song (Todd flubbed and restarted a few times "oh f**k" then took off his shades so he could see the keys better) Compassion Free Male and 21

Folk tune......didn't get the name (Todd wore goofy fake teeth) Lucky Guy* Love is the Answer * I Want You * One World

Encores: A Dream Goes on Forever * The Wheel Hawking (piano)
