my review of the solo show in agoura hills, ca on 4/27:..

opened with "hammer in my heart", closed the encore s with "the wheel".

a real highlight was a electric guitar rendition of "slut", on which todd had to be reminded of the first verse (as he started in singing the second..still ..great to hear that tune live..only second time i had heard it (first was 1974 at pine knob music theatre in michigan).

todd took requests(tiny demons), and played what he could remember....it was obvious he did not rehearse much for this gig. he mentioned that "pretty soon the only place you will be able to see him perform live is at his "don-ho" type theatre in hawaii)..."

he was in a good mood and talked alot with the crowd. speaking of which by the end of the show alot of jerks were talking loud(including one female behemoth yelling in my ear--and she was a fan!), which interfered with those there to enjoy the music. LA morons..

first encore was "one world". during main set he played : "song of the viking", compassion", cliche", "wouldn't have made any difference" , "i saw the light" (bossa nova style) etc.

todds solo shows are always more personable. but also a bit less technically proficient. great time. total show time : 1 hour 50 minutes.
