Wow!!!!! - What a show!!!!! The Taj Mahal's Xanadu Theatre has one of the best sound systems I have heard in quite some time. It is a great place to see a show although it is bigger that a lot of other venues that I have seen TR in.

Todd seemed to play it a little safe here - not playing Mystified and playing You've Got to Hide Your Love Away opposed to Cliché. Jesse joined the trio for the encores (The Ikon, Open My Eyes and WWE). The crowd erupted to OME and it was a killer version. The Ikon was also very strong - its like the four of them have been playing it for years together.

The best two components of the show was the quality of the performance (very few mistakes) but most importantly was how good it sounded. Kasim's bass shook the ground and you could feel Trey's drumming. Everything was crystal clear. Todd's voice sounded great and his guitar work was the best I have seen this tour so far (Todd just seemed so on especially is the bulk of the solos). Even when Jesse was on stage it was very easy to hear the distinct guitar parts which was not so easy at the Kenswick.

Overall conclusion - I would be very happy to find out that the Todd Archives Release #4 is Todd Rundren Live at the "Todd Mahal" July 2000. Todd and Kasim did some kicks on CIJTY - glad to see Kaz is back on two feet!

See you all in NYC for the Irving Plaza Show!
