todd rundgren power trio des moines concert

Wow! i'm still buzzing from the Val Air Todd and the power trio show. Great sound and Todd, Kasim, and Trey gave a high energy performance that lasted two hours plus. Some highlights from the show included lowest common demoniater and i thought a flawless although short version of the ikon the latter had everyone on their feet. Great crowd, Trey is a powerfull drummer and of course kasim was all over his 5 string bass. the table of mostly muscians around us were amazed that a three piece could pump out that great of a sound. Todd and Kasim's voices sounded terrific throughout the show. Post show found a small group of fans waiting for the band. I managed to snag a autograph from Kasim and then we waited about twenty minutes longer for Todd, who, no doubt was exhausted, waved and jumped into a van. Oh well maybe next time.
